Over the past few months, there’s been endless speculation over whether or not Konami was making a Castlevania game for Wii. In one of the screenshots for the upcoming Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the Nintendo DS, an option simply labelled as ‘Wii’ was shown in the game menu, leading many to believe that a Wii game was in the works – including some form of DS communication.

When Shoko Nakagawa isn’t cosplaying, drawing, singing about cats or stuffing their faces into her mouth, she loves playing games or watching anime. So here’s a short video of her playing a game, based on an anime…while wearing a maid outfit.

So that’s Shokotan playing Dragon Ball Z on Wii, Ayumi Hamasaki playing WarioWare on Wii, and Hikaru Utada playing Tetris on the DS. Anyone starting to see a trend here?

Nope. Me neither.

Hikaru Utada24 year old American-born Japanese songstress, Hikaru Utada (or Utada Hikaru if you’re gonna go all Japanese on me) is a Tetris demon! (She claims her high score in Endless Mode is 99,999,999. She’d crush you before you even drop your first Tetrimino). In 2006, ‘Hikki’ participated in a special Tetris event organised by Nintendo, as part of a promotion for Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS. Competitors from all over Japan took turns attempting to defeat her. As you can see from the videos, most failed miserably: (more…)
