24 year old American-born Japanese songstress, Hikaru Utada (or Utada Hikaru if you’re gonna go all Japanese on me) is a Tetris demon! (She claims her high score in Endless Mode is 99,999,999. She’d crush you before you even drop your first Tetrimino). In 2006, ‘Hikki’ participated in a special Tetris event organised by Nintendo, as part of a promotion for Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS. Competitors from all over Japan took turns attempting to defeat her. As you can see from the videos, most failed miserably:
…I think this explains why I always lose to Japanese people at Tetris DS online.
You always lose???????! Wow, I didn’t know that. Seriously, I didn’t. 🙂 Since you’re blogging on her, you should post one of her videos such as “Sakura Drops” or “Can You Keep a Secret.”:)
