Don’t you love that feeling you get when good yet totally unexpected things just hit you from out of nowhere? Like today for example, I was just minding my own business, surfing the ‘net, when suddenly, I was smacked in the face by Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.

15 years ago, the idea of Mario and Sonic being in the same game together was unthinkable. People used to argue for hours on end over which was better: Nintendo or Sega? Mario or Sonic? Heck, wars have been started over lesser disagreements. (more…)

I’m a big fan of Evangelion. Rather than buy the regular manga, I’ve been collecting the Angelic Days books. Angelic Days is sort of an alternate version of Evangelion. All the characters are there, but the scenarios and circumstances are quite changed. (more…)

Hikaru Utada24 year old American-born Japanese songstress, Hikaru Utada (or Utada Hikaru if you’re gonna go all Japanese on me) is a Tetris demon! (She claims her high score in Endless Mode is 99,999,999. She’d crush you before you even drop your first Tetrimino). In 2006, ‘Hikki’ participated in a special Tetris event organised by Nintendo, as part of a promotion for Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS.
