Over the past few months, there’s been endless speculation over whether or not Konami was making a Castlevania game for Wii. In one of the screenshots for the upcoming Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the Nintendo DS, an option simply labelled as ‘Wii’ was shown in the game menu, leading many to believe that a Wii game was in the works – including some form of DS communication.
Well, in the same Nintendo Power that contains the Mega Man 9 – WiiWare exclusive, Castlevania Judgement is revealed to be coming – in the form of a 3D fighter.
The last Mega Man game in the original series was Mega Man 8, released back in 1996. The latest issue of Nintendo Power reveals that Mega Man 9 will be released for Wii on the platform’s WiiWare download service.

At the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3 as it’s better known, Nintendo showed off Wii Fit, a new ‘game’ aimed at keeping people fit while having fun. When I first heard about the game many months ago, I thought that coupled with the very strong sales of the Wii and the worldwide obsession with Wii Sports, Wii Fit would prove to be a strong seller. Now, having seen the E3 trailer, I’m 100% positive this will be a smash hit.
Here are the first set of images from the Wii version of the gaming equivalent of the Twilight Zone. As I’ve said before, this would have been unthinkable 15 years ago…hell, it’d probably be unthinkable just 1 year ago, I mean…
Mario…
and Sonic…
at the Olympics!?
I hope SEGA get this right. Click for more screens and a trailer.
I, along with many others in Europe over the past 2 weeks, have been playing quite a lot of Mario Strikers Charged Football – the first online title released for Wii in the west. There’s no doubting that the game is a superb introduction to online Wii play. The matches and competition are very often extremely intense and a hell of a lot of fun.
It’s such a shame then, that there are some people out there who, obviously devoid of any real talent or desire to learn the game properly, resort to using the same cheap tactics over and over again. (more…)

Yup…as if buses weren’t enough, they’ve got planes too. This must be what they use to drop the Poké-bombs all around the world.
